The Devil Wears Prada Musical Original West End cast album featuring Elton John music and Shaina Taub lyrics set to launch on CD, digital, and LP formats

Fans of the hit West End musical The Devil Wears Prada: A New Musical have a very exciting reason to celebrate: the Original West End Cast Recording is set to be released on 19 September 2025 via Island EMI in CD, digital, and LP formats.

This eagerly anticipated album features all 18 songs from the musical, performed by the original West End cast, alongside two never-before-heard Elton John demos. The LP edition will include a selection of 12 tracks.

New Single ‘Miranda Girl’ Out Now

Ahead of the full release, the single ‘Miranda Girl’, performed by Georgie Buckland (who plays Andy), is available today, giving fans a first taste of the musical’s contemporary and infectious score.

The CD and digital editions feature two exclusive demos: ‘I Mean Business’ and ‘The Devil Wears Prada’, giving fans a rare glimpse into the early creative process and the foundation on which the entire musical score was built.

It's been one of my favourite films of the last 20 years, so when the conversation came up about me writing the music for the stage version, it was an absolute no-brainer. I’m always looking forward, never backwards, so it absolutely had to be a modern, contemporary score.”
