Step through the wardrobe into Narnia! 🦁❄️✨ On Friday 26th September 2025, The Lowry hosted a launch event for The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe ahead of its magical 5-week festive run in Salford (3rd Dec 2025 – 11th Jan 2026). The event featured: 🎶 Live performances (We’ll Meet Again, Myra the Gift Giver, The Lion Walks) 🎭 Q&A sessions with the cast and creative team, including Director Michael Fentiman, Puppeteer Rhodri Watkins, Katy Stephens (The White Witch), and Bunmi Osadolor (Edmund) 🦁 A very special appearance from Aslan – the breathtaking puppet star of the show 👗 A display of costumes, plus Turkish Delight, tea, and cake for guests Based on C.S. Step inside the official press launch for Bank of Dave The Musical at The Lowry in Salford! 🎭💷 This exciting new British musical, inspired by Dave Fishwick’s true story, will premiere in May 2026 at The Lowry before transferring to Curve Leicester. In this vlog, we travel by train from Manchester Victoria to Liverpool Lime Street and dive into a roarsome adventure filled with life-size dinosaurs, fossil digs, baby dinos, storytelling, and more. From meeting a towering Diplodocus and a cheeky baby T-Rex, to hands-on activities like Dino Dig, fossil making, and colouring dinos that come to life on the big screen – Alice and Leo had the best day ever! A Squash and a Squeeze ⭐⭐⭐⭐ AD - Gifted Tickets 🚪 Step inside a tiny house with a BIG story! Join us for our family vlog and review of A Squash and a Squeeze at The Lowry’s Quays Theatre – a joyful stage adaptation of Julia Donaldson & Axel Scheffler’s beloved picture book. We were invited to the press performance on Tuesday 5th August 2025 (11am, 60 minutes, no interval). In this vlog, you’ll see our trip to the theatre, a look at the merchandise (including the activity book we bought for Leo!), the curtain call, and our full review once we got home. 🎭 About the show: The story follows a little old lady who thinks her house is far too small. With the help of a quirky wise old man, she fills her cottage with a hen, a goat, a pig, and a cow — until it’s bursting at the seams! When the animals finally leave, she realises her home isn’t so small after all.
