42 Balloons ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ In this vlog I visit The Lowry to see one of the preview performances of 42 Balloons before it's official opening night on 2nd May. This was my second time seeing the show and I went to a Wednesday evening performance on 19th April 2024, the show started at 8pm in the Lowry's Queys Theatre, the show had a run time of 2hr 20mins including a 20min interval. Dear Evan Hansen ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ In this vlog I go to see the UK Tour of Dear Evan Hansen at Liverpool Empire on Friday 15th November 2024. I went to see a Matinee performance on Wednesday 20th November 2024 and the show started at 2.30pm. The run time for the show is 2hrs 20 minutes which includes a 20 minute interval. I was invited to the shows press night which was held on Thursday 12th December, the show started at 7pm and the run time for the show is 2hrs 10 mins which includes a 25 minutes interval, Act 1 is 60 minutes and Act 2 is 45 minutes. For this show I was sat on row K seat 56 and the view was Excellent. When flower shop assistant Seymour acquires a mysterious new plant, he names it ‘Audrey II’ after his crush and co-worker. As the succulent grows and grows, it offers Seymour the kind of success he could only ever dream of… as long as he keeps feeding it! A Christmas Carol The Musical⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ In this vlog I go to see Hope Mill Theatre's production of A Christmas Carol which was on at The Lowry in it's Quays Theatre. I went to see the show on its last performance which took place on Sunday 5th January 2025. The show started at 7.30pm and had a run time of t 1hr 30 minutes with No interval. I was sat in the Stalls row D seat 13, I paid £40 for my ticket and the view from my seat was Excellent and I would definitely sit there again. This Musical version is brought to you by Alan Menken (Disney’s Beauty And The Beast The Little Mermaid and Newsies and Little Shop Of Horrors) and Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Seussical, Once On This Island), and breathes fantastic new life into the classic tale of A Christmas Carol. Claire Moore, whose previous credits include The Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Les Misérables, Oliver!, The King and I, The Great British Bake Off Musical and Calendar Girls, will take on the lead role of Scrooge in the production. She previously starred alongside Kelsey Grammer in the 2004 TV version of the musical as Mrs Fezziwig. Commenting on her role, Claire said: “I am so excited to be invited to play one of Charles Dickens’ most iconic characters, Scrooge, in A Christmas Carol the Musical. I am especially delighted to be portraying Scrooge as a woman; the first time this has been done in this version of the story…” Scrooge believes that personal wealth is far more valuable than the happiness and comfort of others.
