The Pretty Woman The Musical UK Tour has announced its cast for 2027, with EastEnders stars Molly Rainford and Danny Walters taking on the iconic roles of Vivian Ward and Edward Lewis in the much-loved romantic musical.

Molly Rainford will make her professional stage debut as Vivian, starring opposite Danny Walters as wealthy businessman Edward Lewis, while Bernadette Bangura will take on the role of Vivian's best friend, Kit De Luca.

Based on the hugely popular 1990 romantic comedy starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, Pretty Woman The Musical will return to theatres across the UK from March 2027, bringing its heartwarming love story, comedy and original music by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance to audiences around the country.

The new tour will open at New Wimbledon Theatre on 10 March 2027 before visiting 18 further venues, including Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Cardiff, Liverpool and Leeds.

Pretty Woman The Musical UK Tour 2027 Cast Announced

Leading the cast as Vivian Ward is Molly Rainford, who is best known for playing Anna Knight in BBC One's EastEnders and the title character in CBBC's Nova Jones.

Molly first came to public attention as a finalist on Britain's Got Talent in 2012, before reaching the final of Strictly Come Dancing in 2022. She also appeared in Celebrity Race Across the World alongside her partner, radio presenter Tyler West.

Although Molly has plenty of experience performing on television and as a singer, the role of Vivian will mark her professional stage debut. Taking on such a well-known character is an exciting new chapter in her career, and it will be interesting to see what she brings to the role.

Starring opposite Molly as Edward Lewis is Danny Walters, who is best known for his role as Keanu Taylor in EastEnders. His performance in the long-running BBC soap earned him several awards, including the National Television Award for Best Newcomer.

Danny's other television credits include Benidorm, Call the Midwife and Our World War. He also has theatre experience, having appeared in The Greater Game at Southwark Playhouse and Spring Awakening at Brighton Pavilion.

Completing the three principal cast members announced so far is Bernadette Bangura, who will play Kit De Luca, Vivian's outspoken and supportive best friend.

Bernadette has an impressive musical theatre background, with previous credits including Moulin Rouge! The Musical, My Fair Lady, Once On This Island, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Hairspray and Sunset Boulevard.

With Molly and Danny bringing their television experience to the leading roles and Bernadette bringing extensive musical theatre experience, the new cast promises an interesting combination of performers.

What Is Pretty Woman The Musical About?

Based on the iconic 1990 film, Pretty Woman The Musical tells the story of Vivian Ward, a free-spirited young woman living in Hollywood, whose life takes an unexpected turn when she meets wealthy businessman Edward Lewis.

As their relationship develops, Vivian and Edward begin to challenge each other's expectations, learning important lessons about love, confidence and following their dreams.

Featuring romance, comedy and a soundtrack packed with original songs, Pretty Woman The Musical brings the much-loved film to life on stage while celebrating the importance of being true to yourself.
