Paddington The Musical cast revealed ahead of world premiere at the Savoy Theatre

The world’s most famous marmalade-loving bear is heading to the West End! Casting has been announced for the world premiere of Paddington The Musical, opening at the Savoy Theatre on 30 November 2025, with previews from 1 November.

Adapted from Michael Bond’s beloved books and STUDIOCANAL’s hit films, the new stage musical features music and lyrics by Tom Fletcher, a book by Jessica Swale, and direction by Luke Sheppard (& Juliet, In the Heights).

The role of Jonathan Brown will be shared by Joseph Bramley, Leo Collon, Stevie Hare, and Jasper Rowse.

Joining the company are Esme Bacalla-Hayes, Tiago Dhondt Bamberger, David Birch, Aimée Fisher, Jacqueline Hughes, Kellianna Jay, Sam Lathwood, Natasha Leaver, Katie Lee, Sunny Lee, Vicki Lee Taylor, Jáiden Lodge, Andilé Mabhena, Rose Mary O’Reilly, Ben Redfern, Hugo Rolland, and Simon Shorten.

Casting for Paddington himself, along with the “Bear Designer” and “Bear Creative team,” will be revealed on 1 November at the very first preview.
