🎭 Announce For Matilda The Musical UK & Ireland Tour

“Sometimes you have to be a little bit naughty...” – and sometimes, a little bit brilliant!

The Royal Shakespeare Company’s smash-hit Matilda The Musical has just announced the full cast for its upcoming UK and Ireland tour – and it’s nothing short of revoltingly exciting!

🌟 A Milestone Moment for a Modern Classic

This year marks an astonishing 15 years since the beloved production first burst onto the stage in Stratford-upon-Avon. Since then, Matilda The Musical has become a global phenomenon, playing to over 12 million people in more than 100 cities, racking up over 100 international awards, and even inspiring a Netflix film adaptation.

As part of its anniversary celebrations, the show is heading back on the road – and Manchester audiences will get to experience the magic up close when Matilda The Musical UK & Ireland Tour lands at the Palace Theatre from 26 March – 25 April 2026.

👧 Who’s Playing Matilda?

The iconic role of Matilda Wormwood will be performed by a talented quartet of young stars: Madison Davis, Mollie Hutton, Olivia Ironmonger, and Sanna Kurihara. Each will bring their own spark to the bold, book-loving heroine with a mighty mind.

In a surprise twist worthy of Matilda herself, Tim Minchin – the show’s legendary composer and lyricist – made a surprise visit to the rehearsal room to meet the young cast.
