PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL UK Tour Comes to Manchester Palace Theatre in 2027

Hit West End and Broadway musical PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL is set to return to the Manchester Palace Theatre as part of a major new UK tour in 2027.

Following a record-breaking West End run and a sell-out first UK and Ireland tour, the smash-hit musical will head back out on the road, bringing one of Hollywood’s most beloved romantic comedies to audiences across the UK once again.

The Manchester dates are currently scheduled for March 2027, with performances beginning from 23rd March 2027 before the tour continues to venues across the country including Milton Keynes, York, Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Sunderland, Southampton, Hull, Stoke-on-Trent, Leeds, Oxford, Bristol, Liverpool, Nottingham, Woking and Aberdeen. Further venues and casting are still to be announced.

Based on the iconic 1990 film starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, the stage musical follows Vivian and Edward as they unexpectedly find each other — and themselves — in a dazzling love story packed with romance, glamour and unforgettable moments from the movie audiences know and love.

The production features direction and choreography by two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell, whose previous credits include Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde and Hairspray.

The original score has been written by Grammy winner Bryan Adams and longtime collaborator Jim Vallance, featuring the worldwide hit song Oh, Pretty Woman by Roy Orbison and Bill Dee.

The musical’s creative team also includes scenic design by David Rockwell, costume design by Tom Rogers based on the original Broadway designs by Gregg Barnes, lighting design by Kenneth Posner and Philip S. Rosenberg, sound design by John Shivers, hair design by Josh Marquette and music supervision by Will Van Dyke.

PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL originally premiered in Chicago in 2018 before transferring to Broadway. The production later opened in Hamburg before making its West End debut in 2020. Following its hugely successful London run, the musical embarked on its first UK and Ireland tour in 2023, which sold out across multiple venues.

Casting for the 2027 UK tour is expected to be announced at a later date.
