The West End is about to get a ghoulishly hilarious treat as Beetlejuice The Musical makes its long-awaited debut at London’s Prince Edward Theatre in May 2026. Based on Tim Burton’s 1988 cult classic film, the show follows unusual teenager Lydia Deetz as she encounters the ghosts of a recently deceased couple and the rambunctious spirit Beetlejuice.

After multiple Broadway runs and an 88-city North American tour, the musical comes to London following the closure of MJ The Musical at the Prince Edward Theatre. Tickets for this highly anticipated West End production go on general sale on 30 October 2025

What Is Beetlejuice The Musical About?

Beetlejuice The Musical follows Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager whose life takes a spooky turn when she meets the former owners of her house—who happen to be dead—and calls upon the mischievous demon Beetlejuice to scare away her insufferable parents. Expect exorcisms, arranged marriages, and plenty of supernatural chaos. Beneath the laughter, the show is a touching story about family, love, and making the most of every day.
