Amber Davies will officially be stepping into Elle Woods’ iconic pink heels when Legally Blonde The Musical hits the road for its 2026 UK & Ireland tour.

Producers ROYO and Curve have confirmed that Davies will lead the cast of the new Made at Curve production of the smash-hit musical comedy, with the tour launching on 7 February 2026 at Leicester Curve before visiting major cities across the UK and Ireland. The run will include a two-week engagement at the Manchester Opera House from 3 – 14 November 2026.

Amber Davies: From West End to Elle Woods

Amber Davies is no stranger to the stage, having most recently originated the role of Jordan Baker in The Great Gatsby in London. Her previous credits include:

  • Vivian Ward in the UK tour of Pretty Woman

  • Lorraine Baines in Back to the Future The Musical (West End)

  • Campbell in Bring It On at the South Bank Centre

  • Judy in the original West End cast of 9 to 5 The Musical

She also documented her journey in the ITVBe series Amber and Dolly: 9 to 5, which saw her travel to Nashville to meet Dolly Parton. Alongside her stage career, Davies is widely known for winning Love Island (2017) and appearances on Dancing on Ice and Almost Never.

Speaking about her new role, Amber said:

“I'm absolutely thrilled to be playing the iconic role of Elle Woods in ROYO and Curve's new production of Legally Blonde. As a huge fan of the film and the musical, this part is the role of a lifetime, and I am honoured to be stepping into Elle’s perfect heels.”

Creative Team

This reimagined production of Legally Blonde The Musical will be helmed by Nikolai Foster, Artistic Director at Curve, whose credits include Kinky Boots, The Wizard of Oz and A Chorus Line. The show will feature choreography by Leah Hill, set design by Colin Richmond, lighting by Ben Cracknell, and sound design by Adam Fisher. Musical supervision will be by Matt Spencer-Smith.

The production follows the hugely successful UK tour of Kinky Boots, also directed by Foster and co-produced by Curve and ROYO.
