Full Cast Revealed for Bank of Dave The Musical Ahead of 2026 Premiere

Exciting news for musical theatre fans as Bank of Dave The Musical has officially announced its full cast and creative team ahead of its highly anticipated world premiere in May 2026.

The brand-new British musical will open at The Lowry, Salford from 2–16 May 2026, before transferring to Curve, Leicester from 20–30 May 2026.

Sam Lupton to Lead as Dave Fishwick

Taking on the title role is Sam Lupton, who will play Burnley businessman Dave Fishwick. Lupton is well known for his performances as Del Boy in the Only Fools and Horses UK tour and as Boq in Wicked in the West End.

What is Bank of Dave The Musical About?

Bank of Dave The Musical is based on the Sunday Times bestselling book, BAFTA Award-winning documentary, and global-hit Netflix film, all telling the inspiring story of Burnley businessman Dave Fishwick.

This feel-good, home-grown British musical follows Dave’s journey as he challenges the traditional banking system by setting up his own community-focused bank.

With the help of lawyer Hugh, Dave heads to London to take on powerful banking institutions — but standing up to the financial elite is no easy task.

Packed with humour, heart and a strong Northern voice, the show promises to be:
