Aloha Fun at the Primark Stitch Cafe – A Wholesome 4-Star Family Outing in Manchester Primark 🌺⭐
On Saturday 5th May, my husband and I took our two children, Alice (7) and Leo (6), for a visit to the newly launched Stitch Café at Primark’s Market Street store in Manchester – and let me tell you, it was a tropical delight! Inspired by Disney’s much-loved Lilo & Stitch, this pop-up café is bursting with themed charm, cheeky energy, and plenty of sweet treats.

🌴 Vibrant Theming and Family-Friendly Vibes 🌈
From the moment you step inside, the Stitch Café transports you into a bright, summery island setting. The entire space is drenched in bold colours, sunshine motifs, and character art that instantly puts a smile on your face.
A giant wall mural of Stitch grinning ear-to-ear greets you as you enter, taking up nearly the entire side wall and acting as a playful centrepiece. On another wall, Stitch is shown surfing with a cute crown on his head, set against a stylised Hawaiian sunrise with yellow rays and a soft pink sun. It creates a joyful, cartoon-like atmosphere that feels perfect for kids and fans alike.

The décor leans heavily into the theme without feeling overwhelming — think sunset-toned backdrops, palm tree illustrations, and the word “ohana” repeated like a cheerful mantra on the feature column in the middle of the café. Overhead, a bright blue "ORDER" sign with white floral accents guides the flow, while the ordering counter itself is decorated with wave patterns and little Stitch figures peeking out playfully.
The furniture is practical and stylish: white metal chairs, pale wood tables, and comfy padded bench seating along the walls. There’s also bar-height seating for smaller groups. Despite being inside a bustling Primark, the café feels like a fun little beachside escape — open, clean, and well laid out, with enough space for families to navigate comfortably. Alice and Leo were enchanted from the start, eager to spot all the Stitch artwork and choose their snacks.

🥪 The Menu – Tropical Toasties and Beyond 🍍
We all found something we liked on the varied and family-friendly menu. The kids and I went with the classic Ham & Cheese toasties which is served with crisps (£5.95 each) — warm, melty and very satisfying. Lawrence went for the more adventurous Kalua Pork toastie (£6.95), which came packed with pulled pork, cheese, smoky BBQ sauce and a gherkin — he loved the sweet and smoky combo.

Other toastie options include:
Hawaiian Pizza – cheddar cheese, pizza sauce, pineapple, ham
Poke – avocado, tuna mayo, cheese
For little ones, the Keiki Pizzas (Margherita or Ham & Cheese – £4.25 each) are the perfect size.
🍹 Drinks – Refreshing Coolers & Iced Coffees 🌊
Lawrence and I tried the Mango Hula Lemonade (£4.25 each). It had a lovely tropical flavour, but the drink was packed with so much ice we wished there was more actual lemonade! Other fruity lemonade flavours include Watermelon, Blueberry, and Pineapple.

Other drinks on offer include:
Shake Shack:
Honolulu Shake – tropical drizzle, pineapple, marshmallow coconut
Cocococcy Shake – chocolate cookie shake, whipped cream, chocolate snowball
Smoothie Bar:
Aloha Smoothie – coconut, pineapple, mango, lime
Waikiki Sunrise – strawberry, blackberry, raspberry
Koa’s Coffee Hut:
Hawaiian Iced Coffee, Lavender Iced Latte, Coconut Iced Mocha, Matcha Latte
Hot drinks: Americano, Latte, Cappuccino, Mocha, Hot Chocolate and Tea (from £3.35)
🍰 Sweets & Treats – Stitch-Approved Snacks 🍩✨
Alice picked out one of the Stitch-themed doughnuts (£4.50) with bright blue icing and sprinkles. She only managed half, but the rest came home and was gobbled up later! Leo chose a colourful cake pop (£3), and both kids were excited to get a Stitch biscuit (£3.50 each) – a great take-home treat too.

Lawrence and I shared slices of the Passion Fruit & Lime Cake (£3.95), which had a lovely zing and a light, fluffy texture – definitely one of our highlights.
Also available:
Waffles:
Thursday’s PBJ Lunch – vanilla ice cream, peanut butter, raspberry jam
Melted Mint Waffle – mint choc chip ice cream, chocolate chips, sauce
A range of non-themed cakes, doughnuts, and breakfast bites
🧇 Breakfast is served until 11am, including toast, teacakes, sausage or bacon rolls, and a breakfast deal (any roll + coffee) for £4.95.

🌟 Final Thoughts – A Fun and Fluffy Four Stars 🧁🎉
The Primark Stitch Cafe is a colourful, imaginative, and family-friendly spot that delivers a sweet slice of summer in the middle of Manchester. With themed décor that fans will adore, plenty of food choices, and a cheery atmosphere, it’s a great pre- or post-shopping treat.
While we found the lemonades a little overpriced due to the heavy ice content, everything else we tried was enjoyable, and the kids are already asking when we can go back (especially to try the waffles next time!).
Total cost for our family of four came to £55.70 — reasonable for a themed café experience, especially given the setting and the joy it brought to the little ones.
