NEWS - EVERYBODY’S TALKING ABOUT JAMIE UK TOUR 2027 – 10TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR ANNOUNCED

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie is officially returning to the UK in 2027 for a glittering 10th Anniversary Tour, updated with a brand new song by Dan Gillespie Sells and Tom MacRae.

Following a record-breaking three-year West End residency, two sold-out UK & Ireland tours and the award-winning film adaptation, the smash-hit musical is heading back out on the road — possibly for the last time.

The tour will open at Leeds Grand Theatre on 15 January 2027, marking exactly ten years since the show first premiered at the Sheffield Crucible, before transferring to the West End and touring the world.

About the Show

Jamie New is sixteen and lives on a council estate in Sheffield.Jamie doesn’t quite fit in.Jamie is terrified about the future.Jamie is going to be a sensation.

Supported by his loving mum and surrounded by his friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies and steps out of the darkness and into the spotlight in this funny, touching and uplifting coming-of-age musical.

Described as “Funny, outrageous, touching” by the Daily Telegraph and “Sparkling” by The Times, the show features a pop-infused score by Dan Gillespie Sells (lead singer of The Feeling) and book and lyrics by Tom MacRae (Doctor Who).

The musical was inspired by the true story of Jamie Campbell and his mother Margaret, and has since become one of the most celebrated and loved British musicals of the last decade.
